The 2025 Ford Explorer has some updates for the latest model year, including some changes to its interior features. The latest Explorer has some changes across the lineup, including a refreshed interior design and a Google-based infotainment system. BlueCruise hands-free driving technology is now included on certain trims.
The base model of the Explorer features three rows of seats and three-zone climate control. A 13.2-inch touchscreen is standard, along with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The base trim has Google-based navigation and voice commands and a six-speaker sound system.
The second trim adds a 10-speaker sound system, BlueCruise, and synthetic leather seats.
With the ST, which is the third trim, comes heated seats and captain’s chairs in the second row.
The Platinum has leather seats with synthetic suede liner, along with unique interior trim details. This trim also gets a dual-pane sunroof. The Platinum trim also has an upgraded 14-speaker sound system.
